Bolton Fairtrade Market

Last night GCOM attended Bolton's Fairtrade Market in the Premier Suite at Reebok Stadium. Thanks to Jim Hollyman for coordinating the event, for all the information about it and for letting us attend.

It was a great event that was well organised and had loads of things going on. The evening was busy with many visitors and over 30 stalls selling a range of items and giving lots of information highlighting the importance of fairtrade. Buying fairtrade helps to improve the health and well-being of farmers and their families and gives them a sustainable livelihood so that that they can avoid poverty and debt.

Thanks to all the people who showed interest in our products and who made a purchase. Lofty the Lion was clearly impressed with the evening! Michael fulfilled a childhood dream when he had his picture taken with Lofty, so thank you Lofty!
